Burn Permits and Fire Season: Handled
Most of Placer and Sacramento County restrict open burns May through October, and Cal Fire can pull permits with no notice during high fire danger. We coordinate the call with the local fire authority before we plan a burn pile. Default option is haul-off to a green-waste recycling yard, so the schedule does not depend on weather.
