Eligibility and Age Restriction

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services, submit information through our website, or opt in to receive SMS messages from Groundwork Solutions LLC. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not use our services or provide any personal information to us.

Services

Groundwork Solutions LLC provides site preparation services including excavation, utility trenching, concrete and asphalt removal, demolition, site clearing, rough grading, and pool excavation to clients across Northern California, including Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, Sutter, and Nevada counties. All services are performed in accordance with California state law, CSLB contractor licensing requirements, OSHA and Cal-OSHA safety standards, and applicable local building, excavation, and grading codes.

Scheduling and Appointments

Service appointments and project start dates are scheduled by mutual agreement. We will confirm all appointments via email or text message (if you have opted in to SMS). Customers are responsible for providing access to the project site at the scheduled time, including any gate codes, keys, or contact information needed for entry. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

Pricing and Payment

Quotes are provided based on the information you provide about your project site, scope of work, and any plans or specifications submitted. Final pricing may be adjusted if actual site conditions differ from the information provided, including but not limited to encountering rock, groundwater, buried debris, contaminated soil, or unmarked utilities. Any change in scope will be documented in a written change order before additional work is performed. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, ACH, and major credit cards.

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

Program Name: Groundwork Solutions SMS Notifications

Description of SMS Use Cases: By opting in to our SMS program, you consent to receive automated text messages from Groundwork Solutions LLC. We send the following types of messages:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Quote notifications and scheduling updates
• Crew arrival and en-route alerts
• Project status and completion updates
• Promotional messages about seasonal specials or discounts (only if you consent to marketing messages)

Carrier Liability Disclaimer: Carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier. Groundwork Solutions LLC is not responsible for messages that are not delivered due to carrier issues, network problems, or incorrect phone numbers.

Limitation of Liability

Groundwork Solutions LLC's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Groundwork Solutions LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights, including but not limited to claims arising from inaccurate site information, undisclosed underground utilities or hazards, or unauthorized access to neighboring property.
