For Landscape & Hardscape Pros

The Dig Crew Landscape Pros Don't Have to Babysit

Wall footings, patio sub-base, drainage trenches, old hardscape removal. Through 36-inch gates, around your irrigation, leaves the rest of the yard alone. Your install crew shows up to a dig that's right.

Landscape and hardscape contractors hire us when the dirt work is too big for their crew but too small for the equipment guys. Wall footings, patio sub-base, drainage trenches, old hardscape removal. We fit through side gates, work around your existing irrigation, and leave the lawn alone where we can. Your install crew shows up to a dig that's right and a homeowner that's still happy.

Through 36 Inch Gates

Mini ex, skid steer, walk-behind. Backyard work without ripping out the fence first.

Around the Existing Yard

Plywood the lawn, tarp the planters, mark sprinkler heads before we move. The rest of the yard stays untouched.

Customer-Facing Crew

Polite, on time, in uniform. Your homeowner sees a sub that reflects on you, not one that costs you a referral.

What We Dig for Landscape Pros

Footings, Bases, Trenches, Removals

The dirt phase of your hardscape job. Set-ready when we leave.

Retaining Wall Footings

Patio & Hardscape Base

Excavated to depth, base rock placed and compacted. Set-ready for pavers, flagstone, or pour.

Drainage & Lighting Trenches

French drains, channel drain runs, low voltage lighting and irrigation laterals. Backfilled clean.

Old Hardscape Removal

Concrete patios, paver fields, busted retaining walls, timber beds. Out clean, sub-base ready.

How We Work With Your Install Crew

Most landscape jobs are remodels. The yard's already there, the homeowner's watching, and your install crew has a Tuesday start. Here's how we keep all three happy.

  • Site walk with you, the homeowner if needed, before the quote.
  • Written quote within 24 hours, itemized so you can mark it up clean.
  • Sprinkler heads flagged and existing irrigation marked before we cut.
  • Plywood for equipment paths across the lawn, tarps over planter beds.
  • Spoils hauled the same day, no piles in the side yard.
  • Photos and a written closeout when we leave. Your install crew picks up clean.

Around Your Existing Yard, Not Through It

Most landscape jobs are remodels. The lawn, irrigation, and trees are already there. We mark sprinkler heads, lay plywood across the grass, tarp planter beds, and route the equipment to leave the rest of the yard alone. The homeowner barely knows we were on the lawn.

Common Questions

What Landscape Pros Ask Before They Hire Us

Can you fit through a 36-inch side gate?

Yes. We work through 36-inch gates regularly with a mini excavator and skid steer. For 30-inch and tighter, we run a walk-behind skid steer or hand work the corners. If the gate is even narrower, a temporary fence section comes out and goes back in same day. Backyard work is most of what we do.

Will you work around existing irrigation and lawn?

Yes. Before we mob, we walk the yard with you and the homeowner, mark sprinkler heads with flags, and tarp planter beds. Plywood goes down on the lawn for equipment paths. If the dig requires cutting an irrigation line, we cap it clean and let your sprinkler tech splice it back. We do not just rip through the yard.

Do you handle old patio and wall removal?

Yes. Old concrete patios, paver fields, busted retaining walls, timber beds, all of it. We saw cut clean where existing hardscape stays, break out the rest, and haul off the same day. Sub-base left clean and ready for your new install.

Can you do small jobs or only big ones?

Small jobs are most of what we do for landscape pros. A single retaining wall footing, a 200 square foot patio dig, a 60 foot drainage run, all in a day's work. Minimum job size is half a day on site. Bundle multiple scopes from the same backyard and you save the second mobilization.
